“The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded”
… made easy guide....
What do you do when you see this message, Don't panic... rather relax and focus। You just need to make a few clicks and mouse moves, and of course some courage not to panic, that is....
CAUSES:
A) The user profile was manually deleted by using the command prompt or Windows Explorer by a user or by some program।
A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) from the user profile list in the registry. Since the SID is still present, Vista will still try to load the profile by using the ProfileImagePath that points to a nonexistent path.
Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded।
B) The user profile entering into a backup state।
SOLUTION:
Boot to safe mode and log on as administrator (You may try to log on with another administrator profile instead of going to safe mode।) How to boot to safemode, generally you just keep tapping the “f8” button right after after pressing the power button upon restart
Execute regedit (for xp: click start then click “run” then type “regedit” in the run window. If you cannot find the run button in the start menu, you have to access DOS type cmd, then enter then type regedit.... for vista: simply type “regedit” in the start search button)
After you type regedit, the registry editor opens: Click the following folders...
click Local Machine\ under it click Software\ click Microsoft\ click Windows NT\ click CurrentVersion\ click Profile List
Go through the profiles to find yours. You can use the ProfileImagePath toidentify your profile
The key to your profile may have a ".bak" appended to it. There will beanother identical key except for the bak. Rename this key and rename yoursremoving the ".bak"
Change the State property to 0.Log off and retry logging on with your profile. It should now work
...this one really helps...
